Culture

The Slatina Synagogue is a private building and is not open to visitors. It is listed in the register of state cultural monuments under registration number 37216/4-3287. The Jewish cemetery in Slatina is freely accessible year-round.

The Slatina sundial consists of a granite block four metres long and just under three metres high, weighing nine tonnes. Astrological signs are carved into the granite block.

History

The Chapel of St. Václav in Slatina was built by the municipality of Slatina in 1865 for 300 guilders. The brick Baroque niche chapel of St. Barbora “Na Hradcích” stands on a hill near a quarry on the left side of the road to Chanovice and probably dates from the end of the 18th century. There are also several stone crosses in the cadastral area of Slatina.
