Tuesday: Hotels and Accommodations

In Tuesday stands the Baroque Church of the Birth of Saint John the Baptist. It was consecrated in 1698 and is a central-plan building with an oval floor plan, a tower on the facade, and a richly decorated interior.

Culture

A Baroque Chapel of Saint Wenceslas was built on the hill above Tuesday in 1747.

Nature and Trails

Úterská uhličitá kyselka is a carbonated spring first mentioned in 1693. It lies 2.2 kilometers to the left of the road to Teplá.

The Městečkem Úterý educational trail is approximately 1.5 kilometers long. The first seven stations form a loop trail that begins at the square by the town hall. Three outer stations encourage hiking or cycling trips in the surrounding area. The last information board on the educational trail introduces the valley of the Úterský potok; from the southern side of Tuesday, you can walk along its banks to the Hracholusky Reservoir.

History

The remains of the former Haidlovy cihelny brickworks include a factory chimney just over 20 meters high and the ruins of a kiln. A convenient forest path leads from a village pond in Olešovice to these remains over a distance of approximately half a kilometer.

Crafts

Úterská keramika produces original functional ceramics with Art Nouveau elements. During the summer months, visitors can take part in workshops at the Úterská keramika workshop and try out various artistic techniques.
