The “Křemežskou kotlinou” circular trail passes through České Chalupy; its route runs via Sedm Chalup and České Chalupy to Nová Ves. The “Křemežskou kotlinou” hike can be shortened and partly follow the ridge. In addition, stage CZ12.3 Holašovice–Lhenice of the Zlatá stezka passes by České Chalupy.

Cycling

There are numerous marked cycle paths in the vicinity of České Chaloupy. The development plan also provides for a regional cycle route from České Budějovice via Holašovice, České Chalupy, Kuklov, Smědeč, Chroboly, Jelemek, Prachatice, Vlachovo Březí, Malenice, Volyně, and Sušice, numbered 121.
