The locality can be reached via a walkable tourist trail located more than 250 meters from the road.

The Volovický vrch mountain is located in the vicinity of Horní Záblatí. The mountains Včelenský vrch, Libín, and Bobík are also located in the surrounding area.

From Horní Záblatí onward, the Blanice flows through an increasingly deeply incised wooded valley.
