Culture and history
Boskovice Castle features a 26-meter-deep wooden shaft well operated by a treadwheel. The castle also offers views of the surrounding landscape.
The permanent exhibition “Fairy Tales and Legends of the Boskovice Region” is located in the basement rooms of the Hraběcà rezidence. It opened in April 2019 and draws on a rich oral folk tradition that has been recorded in the region since the mid-19th century. Visitors can read almost one hundred local stories there and listen to legends in the Malohaná dialect.
