Braníškov: Hotels and Accommodation

About half of Braníškov’s cadastral area lies within the Údolí Bílého potoka Nature Park. The nature park encompasses an almost 15-kilometre-long section of the Bílý potok in a narrow, deep and picturesque valley through a gently rolling upland. Braníškov’s cadastral area covers 364 hectares, more than half of which is forested.

Culture

The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius stands in Braníškov’s village square. The single-nave building in the vernacular Baroque style was built in 1863. The Cyril and Methodius pilgrimage also took place in Braníškov in 2025 and 2026.

Getting around

Braníškov can be reached from Brno via the IDS by taking the S3 train line and changing to bus line 312. A convenient path runs along the Bílý potok and is suitable for walks and bike rides.

The “Okolo Bílého potoka a Libochůvky” cycling route leads from Veverská Bítýška along the Bílý potok to Hálův mlýn, then via Maršov and Braníškov to Vlkovská hájenka. Local amenities also include a tennis court, which was built through the voluntary work of future club members and with financial support from the municipal office.
