Deblín: Hotels and Accommodations
Nature
The Údolí Bílého potoka Nature Park also extends into the municipality of Deblín. The Deblín educational trail is an easy walk of about one hour, suitable for families with small children and seniors. It is accessible to pedestrians and cyclists; access is available from the car park on the Deblín–Svatoslav road or from the Deblín pond. The educational trail stations cover the forest as an important ecosystem, conifers, deciduous trees, and forest birds.
Culture
The Church of St. Nicholas is protected by the heritage authority. It contains a painting of Saint Nicholas that once stood at what is now Svobody Square in Brno; guild banners are also located there. Originally built as a Romanesque-Gothic basilica, the church was remodeled in the Baroque style in the 18th century.
The stone cross from 1805 is also protected by the heritage authority and was made from stone sourced locally.
History
After Deblín Castle stood uninhabited and fell into disrepair, it was gradually dismantled to build houses. Historic gates in Deblín once led into the agricultural part of the Deblín estate. The Empire-style hunting lodge dates from 1852.
