Skalička: Hotels and Accommodations

A green-marked hiking trail leads through Skalička to the Nad Lipůvkou signpost. There, it connects to a red-marked trail in the direction of Blansko and Kuřim.

The Cesty medu educational trail is about 3 kilometers long. Its seventh information panel is located on the outskirts of Skalička u Tišnova along a cycle path; visitors can view a glass observation beehive there. Regular tourists can also view a glass observation beehive along the access road to the apiary.

The oldest building structure in Skalička is the Žandovský mlýn mill, which stands in the middle of the village on the Lubě stream. Cultural and social gatherings have been held at Žandovský mlýn for many years.

The site of the former fortress in Skalička, which existed in the 16th century, is still known as Hradisko. A reference from 1573 already described the fortress as being in ruins. The Chapel of Saint Wenceslas in Skalička dates from 1923.

In 1944–1945, Skalička was an important center of antifascist resistance in the Tišnovsko region. The partisan memorial near Skalička is dedicated to the members of General Luža’s 3rd Assault Company and was unveiled in 1946.

The sports complex at the artificial body of water in Skalička includes a paddling pool measuring 23 × 3.5 m, with a volume of approximately 15 m³ and a water temperature of 23–25 °C. The sports complex in Skalička also has a court for tennis or nohejbal.
