Měnín lies in the Dyjsko-svratecký úval landscape and at the confluence of the Litava and Říčka (Zlatý potok) waterways.
Culture and History
On the main road through Měnín stands a sculpture group depicting the Holy Trinity, as well as Cyril and Methodius, dating from 1897.
The Church of Saint Margaret is a parish church where services are regularly held. Since 1958, it has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. A reconciliation cross stands next to the church.
A historical connection with nearby Brno is evident in the Měnínská brána: the gate is named after the former city district around Měnínská Street.
