Culture
The Church of St. Wenceslas is an architecturally valuable Baroque building dating from 1734. The first documented mention of the Church of St. Wenceslas in Dolní Bojanovice dates back to 1398. The tower of the Church of St. Wenceslas is 31 metres high.
The stone Heyssigův kříž memorial cross dates from 1724. It commemorates an accident in which the captain of the Hodonín estate lost his life at this location.
Traditions
Svatováclavské hody is celebrated on the last Sunday in September. Svatováclavské hody begins with a festive mass in honour of Saint Wenceslas, the parish patron saint.
The Bojanovští vinaři winemakers' association traditionally organises various forms of open wine cellar days in Dolní Bojanovice.
Landscape
The “Kohútek” locality is situated in the cadastral area of Dolní Bojanovice on an access road along the Kyjovka River, in a wooded part of Stupava. Kohútek is a drinking-water spring visited by people from the wider surrounding area, especially because of its safety and good taste.
