Culture
The square chapel of Saint Florian was built in 1935 on the site of an original Baroque rotunda chapel. It stands by the bridge on the road from Vyškov to Kučerov. Several houses representing the folk architecture of the Haná region from the 19th century have also been preserved in Hlubočany. The tradition of carol singing on Epiphany is still maintained in the village.
Landscape and Nature
The Hlubočanský stream comes from Manerov and flows into the Rostěnický stream about 2 km below Hlubočany. An orchard stretches along the southern edge of the village. To the east of Hlubočany, the wooded slopes of the Orlovická vrchovina rise nearby.
Trails and Activities
A red-marked hiking trail runs through Hlubočany from Skalice nad Svitavou to Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště. A cycle path connects the village with Vyškov, and an equestrian trail also passes through Hlubočany.
Sports and Community Life
The sports complex in Hlubočany has a multifunctional playing field and a children's playground. A kiosk offering refreshments is also available at the sports complex. Volleyball and football-tennis tournaments are held there in summer.
