The four cultural monuments of Komořany include the Church of Saint Barbara and the statue of Saint Florian. The church has an Early Gothic core dating from the second half of the 13th century. Its interior contains Baroque fresco-secco paintings signed by Ignatz Oderlitzky and dated 1755. Next to the church stands a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, made in 1736.

A green-marked hiking trail leads from the bus stop in Komořany to the Žalmanův kámen trail junction. Also located in the wider regional surroundings of Komořany are Brno Zoo and the Sady Osvobození park.
