Holasice: Hotels and accommodations

The Chapel of St. Wenceslas is registered as an immovable cultural monument. The town’s notable historical sites also include the so-called Holasice Lochy: underground, unlined passages and rooms whose origins historians date to the 13th century. They are not accessible.

The historical development of Holasice is connected with the Benedictine monastery in Rajhrad. The Václavské hody have an established place in local life: they have traditionally been celebrated in Holasice for many years, usually on the last weekend of September.

At the Holasice shooting range, shotgun shooting practice is possible in the Trap and Skeet disciplines; archery and air rifle shooting are also available there by arrangement. Corporate events featuring shooting demonstrations, instruction, and a shooting competition with David Kostelecký can also be organized.

The Way of St. James leads from the monastery through an avenue to Holasice along a route marked in red. A pilgrim stamp station is located by a chapel in Holasice on the Way of St. James. On its section through Holasice, the route passes the Ludmily pond site and continues toward Vojkovice.

Vinohrady Hill is located in the vicinity of Holasice. The hill (Pizoňky[Syrovice]) is in the immediate surroundings. In the wider regional area are Nedánov Hill and Leskoun Hill.

The Brno Zoo is located in the wider regional surroundings of Holasice. The ruins of Dívčí Hrady and the ruins of Tempelštejn are also located there. The Sady Osvobození park is located in the vicinity of Holasice as well.
