Culture and History

The village square in Křižínkov has an irregular layout, with several streets branching off it. Parts of solid stone walls are still being excavated at the site of the present-day house No. 14. According to tradition, the Křižínkov fortress, surrounded by ponds, once stood there.

The Chapel of St. Anne was built in 1848. It is a Neoclassical chapel with Late Baroque elements and is considered an example of 19th-century folk architecture.

A tall wooden cross bearing the year 1981 stands on the road to Křoví. On the road towards Katov stands a cross in the form of a granite column with a Corpus Christi figure.

At the southwestern edge of Křižínkov, near gardens and adjacent to fields, stand the restored walls of a picturesque triangular wayside shrine. At the crossroads towards Pánov, a first marble cross is completely hidden in the undergrowth.
