KÅ™ižÃnkov: Hotels and Accommodation
KÅ™ižÃnkov is located in the KÅ™ižanov Highlands at an elevation of 468 metres above sea level. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1309.
Culture and History
The village square in KÅ™ižÃnkov has an irregular layout, with several streets branching off it. Parts of solid stone walls are still being excavated at the site of the present-day house No. 14. According to tradition, the KÅ™ižÃnkov fortress, surrounded by ponds, once stood there.
The Chapel of St. Anne was built in 1848. It is a Neoclassical chapel with Late Baroque elements and is considered an example of 19th-century folk architecture.
A tall wooden cross bearing the year 1981 stands on the road to KÅ™ovÃ. On the road towards Katov stands a cross in the form of a granite column with a Corpus Christi figure.
At the southwestern edge of KÅ™ižÃnkov, near gardens and adjacent to fields, stand the restored walls of a picturesque triangular wayside shrine. At the crossroads towards Pánov, a first marble cross is completely hidden in the undergrowth.

Shrovetide was celebrated in KÅ™ižÃnkov in both 2024 and 2025. KÅ™ižÃnkov Runsis a traditional running event in KÅ™ižÃnkov.
