Rajhradice: Hotels and Accommodation
A prominent landmark of the municipality is the monastery barn in Rajhradice. It was built in 1717 based on a design by Jan Santini.
Culture
The Chapel of Saint Scholastica was built in 1896–97 at the municipality’s expense and completely reconstructed in 2018. Since the beginning of 2020, six of the eight stained-glass windows that were reconstructed and supplemented in total have been installed in the interior window openings. The chapel is the only building in the Czech Republic dedicated to this saint.
The Stanislavské hody tradition is maintained in Rajhradice on 7 May. Boží muka is designated as a cultural monument in Rajhradice. The Loučská bell tower is decorated with sculptures by woodcarver Jaroslav Buncek.
Nature
In the Loučka district of Rajhradice, the Bajtlák pond is a relaxation area; fishing competitions are occasionally held there. A sign on a path near its shore provides information about the history of the pond and the Loučka district.
The Habřina wetland serves as a walking and relaxation area. Swimming is occasionally possible there.
Trails
Part of the Naučná stezka Rajhradsko educational trail runs through Rajhradice. An information board on the trail near the Habřina wetland describes the Stráně nad Habřinou archaeological site. An extensive Slavic burial ground with a total of 239 excavated graves was investigated at this site.
Cycling Route 404 runs through Rajhrad and Syrovice onward in the direction of Moravský Krumlov.
