Nemotice: Hotels and accommodation
Nemotice combines a cultural monument, marked trails, natural features and historical traces; you can book a hotel for a stay in Nemotice.
Culture and history
The Church of St. Wenceslas in Nemotice is a cultural monument. The single-nave Baroque building has a prismatic tower dating from 1793 and was consecrated on the first Sunday of Advent in 1794. Services are held regularly in the church on Sundays at 11 a.m.
The former fortress of Nemotice is also part of the history of the village. It stood on a hill west of the village centre, surrounded by the Kyjovka River. The fortress was first mentioned in 1371 and fell into disrepair sometime after 1531.
Landscape and trails
The municipal area of Nemotice is part of the Ždánický les Nature Park. The village lies on the boundary between the Bučovice Uplands and the Ždánický les. The marked red hiking trail from Brankovice via Nemotice to Švábenice also passes through Nemotice. Cycle route No. 473 Otrokovice–Koryčany–Rajhradice runs through the village as well.
