Nevojice: Hotels and Accommodation

Nevojice is home to the Mokřad a vodní tůně Nevojice wetland and vibrant local traditions. The project created a new aquatic and wetland habitat for a wide variety of organisms and adapted the wetland for occasional, small-scale recreation.

Nature

The predominantly deciduous Ždánický les features a network of paved forest paths suitable for cycling. There are also carefully marked hiking trails. After an approximately twenty-minute moderate climb from Nevojice, you reach Ždánický les.

At the Mokřad a vodní tůně Nevojice wetland, a gravel-and-grass path intended exclusively for pedestrians leads to the seating area and footbridge; steps also lead from the path to an observation point. As part of the same project, new tourist infrastructure was created to support cycling on the EuroVelo4 route in the direction of Bučovice–Nevojice.

Culture

In Nevojice, the tradition of “Klepání” during the week before Easter remains alive. The tradition of “Mrskut” on Easter Monday also continues. The parish church in Nevojice was declared a cultural monument on 12 November 1998.
