Příbram Na Moravě: Hotels and Accommodation
Příbram na Moravě is characterized by a municipal area of approximately 1,200 hectares, where fields, meadows and, above all, forests define the landscape. In addition, there are paths through hilly surroundings, ponds and views that showcase the village's rural character.
Nature and Paths
A walking path leads through the valley of the Příbramský potok, past ponds and a settlement of weekend houses. The Stezka permoníků can be used by bicycle or on foot and leads through hilly terrain with far-reaching views and shady forests. On the way from Příbramský mlýn towards Příbram, a small waterfall may appear when there is sufficient water.
The shorter Příbramské krásy route is 8.5 kilometres long, leads from the RIC to Příbram and offers a return journey by bus. Another route of the same name leads to Příbramský mlýn, which is approximately 1.6 kilometres from the respective starting point. The original residents still live there; visitors are therefore asked to be considerate and to continue on afterwards. Kuchyňka Pond is considered well maintained and suitable for a refreshing dip in summer.
Festivals and Culture
The village's annual calendar is marked by several events. Pálení čarodějnic takes place every year on 30 April at the football pitch. Den dětí is celebrated on the Saturday closest to 1 June, also at the local football pitch. In June, the Neckyáda also takes place on the local pond, where unusual watercraft compete in speed and creativity competitions.
The traditional Příbramská pouť takes place around 5 May in connection with Saint Florian. The Chapel of St Florian and the Virgin Mary includes sculptures and a Stations of the Cross. Příbramské hody takes place every year on a Sunday in September as an all-day programme; it includes a procession of people in traditional dress through the village, accompanied by a band and a horse-drawn carriage.
At the beginning of August, the Memoriál Ladislava Pospíšila football tournament is held. The Příbram team competes against three other teams from surrounding municipalities. At Příbramské vinobraní, wine can be tasted around the transition from September to October.
