Radslavice: Hotels and accommodations

Radslavice combines archaeological traces, extensive forest complexes, and a visibly vibrant local community; a hotel can be booked for an overnight stay.

Culture and history

Hradisko Zelená Hora is a 1.1-hectare prehistoric hillfort site above the Pustiměřský potok stream, fortified by a rampart and a ditch. In the cadastral area of Radslavice, it is classified as a significant archaeological site. A stone castle was built on the Hradisko in the mid-13th century and was probably abandoned as early as the 14th century. Archaeological finds also indicate a Bronze Age settlement at the site of Radslavice.

One of Radslavice’s historic local features is a bell tower in one of its districts.

Nature

The surrounding nature of Radslavice is suitable for walks in every season. The village is surrounded by the extensive forest complexes of the military area.

A signposted local cycling route runs along the southeastern edge of Radslavice. It leads from Vyškov to a reservoir and Plumlov Castle.

Local life

The Radslavice cultural center has 150 seats and is used for balls, dance events, and carnival celebrations. As part of community life, the “Matky Radslavice” group organizes a spooky trail.

Annual district competitions for the mayor’s traveling trophy were held at the local sports field in Radslavice. A nighttime firefighting attack competition was also held there.

Radslavice is connected by road to Vyškov and Pustiměř.
