Rašovice: Hotels and accommodations

Rašovice combines protected landscapes and marked trails. Even when booking a hotel, the specific character of the destination remains in focus.

Nature and landscape

West of Rašovice lies the Rašovický zlom – Chobot Nature Reserve. It protects thermophilic plant communities of the Pontic-Pannonian type as well as wild animals. The Rašovický potok stream flows through Rašovice; it rises in the Rokle municipal forest and in the Hrček spring area. The Ždánický les is also located in the immediate vicinity.

Further protected landscapes lie south and east of the village: the Mušenice Nature Reserve is located south of Rašovice, while the Žlíbek Natural Monument lies to the east. Mušenice protects thermophilic plant communities of the Pontic-Pannonian type as well as wild animals, particularly amphibians. Žlíbek also protects thermophilic plant communities of the Pontic-Pannonian type as well as wild animals, particularly amphibians.

Trails and regional exploration

Cycle route 5098 runs through Rašovice and forms a 7.7-kilometre connection along forest roads toward the long-distance route on the ridge of the Ždánický les. Marked hiking trails also pass through the village. Participation cards for the 2026 cycling tour to explore the region are available at the Rašovice municipal office.

The voluntary association of municipalities Ždánický les and Politaví is once again organising a cycling tour to explore the region.

Culture and local history

The filial Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Rašovice was built between 1865 and 1869 and consecrated on 19 October 1869. A large staircase leads from Rašovice to the chapel. Near the sacred building stands a statue of Saint Florian dating from the second quarter of the 18th century.

Dožatá and regional cuisine

In addition to an exhibition of products, Dožatá includes various workshops and other activities. The programme also features themed tastings of food.

The Rašovický Goulash Festival continued in 2026; the first goulash festival took place on 30 August 2025 at Sokolka. At the Rašovický Goulash Festival, competing goulash dishes are cooked in cauldrons. The prepared goulash dishes are offered to the public for tasting.
