Tasov: Hotels and accommodations

Rare animals and plants, including orchids, can be observed in the flower-rich meadows around Tasov. The Tasovský rybníček pond is also part of the local landscape. It is fed by the Velička stream and used by anglers for fishing.

Several cycling routes pass through Tasov. The Strážnická wine trail also runs from Ostrožská Lhota via Louka, Lipov and Tasov to Strážnice. A blue-marked hiking trail leads through Tasov from Veselí nad Moravou to Velká nad Veličkou. The Šumárnická educational trail passes through places of interest in the foothills of the Bílé Karpaty.

The Chapel of Saint Wenceslas in Tasov was built in 1928. Two artistic personalities are also associated with the town: the Moravian Slovak painter Antoš Frolka lived and worked in Tasov, while the folk artist Rozka Falešníková was born there.

The Václavské hody is a traditional cultural event in Tasov. The Tasovský mlýn mill is also part of the town’s history; it was mentioned in the 13th century as the property of the Lords of Žerotín.

The Topolový hájek area is located in the vicinity of Tasov. Various cultural and social events take place on its grounds.
