Tvořihráz: Hotels and accommodation

The Tvořihrázský les is a Natura 2000 site of European importance. It protects oak-hornbeam forests as well as habitats of the stag beetle, great capricorn beetle, and barbastelle bat. The forest is also home to preserved burial mounds, historic sunken lanes, ponds, and boundary stones.

A green-marked hiking trail leads from Znojmo through Tvořihráz and on via Plaveč to Hluboké Mašůvky. There is also a designated cycling route: the approximately 45-kilometre Cyklookruh Mikroregionem Moravia runs through Tvořihráz, partly along paved roads and partly along natural trails. The Mlynářská stezka also passes through Tvořihráz on its section in the Znojmo region.

The small château with its farmyard in Tvořihráz was originally a fortress, which the Dominicans of Znojmo converted into their summer residence at the end of the 17th century. Extensive wine cellars were built on the site in 1694. Mass wine was produced there for a long time and transported to all Dominican monasteries in the country.

The Chapel of Saint Dominic is located near the château, and services are still held there on Sundays. The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk is a designated cultural monument in Tvořihráz. The wayside shrine on the road to Horní Dunajovice is also a designated cultural monument in Tvořihráz.

Other sights and monuments in Tvořihráz include the Loucký mlýn hamlet on the Jevišovka.
