Bílichov: Hotels and Accommodation

Forests surround Bílichov in a horseshoe shape to the north, west and south; they invite visitors to go for walks and pick mushrooms.

Culture

In the eastern part of Bílichov, the Chapel of St. Wenceslas stands on slightly elevated ground above the village square. The stone-built structure has a rectangular floor plan and a semicircular apse.

Nature

The Bílichov Valley was formed by regressive erosion. Particularly protected species found there include the red squirrel, the stock dove and the Alpine newt. The richest population of black hellebore (Veratrum nigrum) in the Czech Republic grows there; it comprises approximately 5,000 specimens. Most of Bílichov’s cadastral area lies on the southeastern side of the Džbán Nature Park.
