Mnichovský Týnec originally belonged to the Cistercian monastery in Osek and is first mentioned in 1341. The Chapel of Saint Wenceslas in Mnichovský Týnec was built in 1714. The present-day chapel in Mnichovský Týnec dates from the second half of the 19th century and is Neo-Gothic.
Třtěno is home to a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk dating from 1722. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Třtěno was built in 1870 at the municipality's expense. Třtěno also has a Baroque manor house with a chapel inside, which is now in very poor condition.
