Petrikovice: Hotels and Accommodations

Levínské Petrovice stretches along a road running through the village; the loosely distributed buildings stand on their own plots of land.

Culture

In the center of Levínské Petrovice, there is a chapel by the road. It is registered as an immovable cultural monument under registration number 2157. The square building has a rendered stone base and a vertically boarded wooden section, crowned by a pyramidal thatched roof. In front of the bell tower stands a preserved cast-iron cross on a stone base in Empire style, dated 1859.

The village retains vernacular wooden buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, particularly the log houses numbered 19, 18, and 22. Among the brick houses from the second half of the 19th century is house no. 12, featuring pilasters and stucco elements. The rear part of the house is built partly using timber framing and has a recessed wooden gallery.

Orientation

The Levínské Petrovice rozc. bus stop is 700 meters from the village center at the intersection of roads II/240 and III/24080. Road III/24080 leads from Levínské Petrovice via Horní Bukovina and Bukovina to Starý Týn.

No visible trace remains today of the former Levínské Petrovice railway stop. It was located on the western edge of the village near a former level crossing, about 250 meters from the intersection with road II/240. At 515 meters above sea level, the former stop was the second-highest railway station on the railway line.

Nature

The municipality of Lovečkovice, to which Levínské Petrovice belongs, lies within the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area.
