Račiněves: Hotels and accommodations

In the center of Račiněves, the complex of the Church of Saint Gall is a prominent urban feature. The church is a valuable medieval sacred building dating from the end of the 15th century. As a cultural monument, it is registered under ÚSKP number 28108/5-2242 and has been protected as a historic monument since May 3, 1958.

Culture and History

The Kavčina archaeological site lies about 1 km east of Račiněves on a gentle rise near sand pits and adjacent fields. It comprises a cult area, a settlement, and a burial ground.

The Račiněves Hunting Association organizes a traditional hunting ball and a shooting competition.

Pechar’s Ranch

Pechar’s Ranch has horse paddocks with shelters; currently, 16 horses graze there or are accommodated on the premises. There are also Dutch goats, four Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Göttingen pigs, rabbits, and other animals.

Pechar’s Ranch is part of the “horse trail”; it has a rescue station and facilities for riders and their horses. At the ranch, horses can be accommodated in paddocks or stalls; riders can stay overnight in a cabin directly in the horse paddock.

There is also a covered log-cabin restaurant with a fireplace and facilities for equestrian events, children’s programs, school trips, and children’s birthday parties.

Village Center and Transport

The center of Račiněves, called Ohrada, includes a small park with benches and several play elements for children. Račiněves has a municipal restaurant where meals are available.

The D8 motorway interchange is about 2 km from Račiněves. Several bus routes run through Račiněves. Bus connections include, among others, Roudnice n.L.–Libochovice, Louny–Roudnice n.L.–Mělník–Mladá Boleslav, and Roudnice–Velvary.
