Chodovlice: Hotels and Accommodations

Chodovlice lies on the edge of the Bohemian Uplands between the castle ruins of Košťálov and Hazmburk. Lucký mlýn is located in the southwest of the Litoměřice District between Chodovlice and Úpohlavy.

Culture

Lucký mlýn is a former water mill. The Baroque building preserves technical equipment dating mainly from the early 20th century. Today, the mill has the only functioning water wheel in the Litoměřice District.

The Chapel of Saint Bartholomew is located in Chodovlice. In 1822, it replaced a cross with a bell frame; regular religious services are not held there.

Josef Věnceslav Vlasák was born in Chodovlice on April 14, 1802. A memorial plaque was installed on his birthplace at Chodovlice No. 14. Vlasák published the youth magazine “Bibliothéka mládeže”.

Routes

The Třebenice–Libochovice hiking route passes through Chodovlice and continues to Lucký mlýn. It is 12 kilometers long and moderately difficult. Chodovlice is also marked in the documentation for the regional cycling route CT 3124 (Úštěcká) on map sheet 10.
