Rochov: Hotels and Accommodation
The Rochov archaeological site encompasses the built-up area of the village of Rochov and its immediate surroundings. It is classified as UAN I, a category with a clearly documented occurrence of archaeological finds.
Culture and History
Two farmsteads in Rochov were donated by Vladik Troch of Brozany to the Prague Augustinian Monastery of St. Thomas in the Lesser Town. One of Rochov’s notable sights is the monastic agricultural estate.
The Chapel of the Virgin Mary stands in the village square in the centre of Rochov. It is an Empire-style chapel from the first half of the 19th century and is structurally connected to a bell tower and a fire station. A wide bell tower rises above the gable; a clock is located below the upper cornice.
Rochov Fortress was considered dilapidated in the first half of the 16th century.
Cycling Route and Regional Surroundings
The regional cycling route CT 3124 (Úštěcká) has a section near Rochov. This section runs along a service road and a road and is passable.
Lovoš and Kibička are located in the regional surroundings of Rochov; a 50-hectare nature reserve was designated there in 1948.
