Hošťka can be explored through its buildings, history, and surrounding landscape. In the town and its immediate surroundings, registered cultural monuments are combined with historic religious buildings, a memorial column, and marked trails.

Culture

In the center of Hošťka stands the Church of St. Othmar, a distinctive building and an immovable cultural monument registered in the Central Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments. Its tower contains a clock mechanism manufactured by the Prague clockmaking company L. Hainze in 1929 and fully restored in 1998.

The Church of St. George was originally a Romanesque religious building and is one of the oldest and most valuable buildings in the region. The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is also part of the architectural heritage: it is a cultural monument registered in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments, stands on the left bank of the Obrtka behind the bridge connecting the Hošťka and Kochovice districts, and was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1756. The Baroque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Hošťka was completed in 1762.

The Holy Trinity Column was ceremonially consecrated on November 17, 1737, and commemorates the great fire of Hošťka in 1735. It is surrounded by a hexagonal balustrade.

Nature

A blue-marked trail passes through Hošťka via Roudnice nad Labem to Říp. This trail is connected to an extensive network of marked hiking trails. The touristically attractive Polabí region extends directly into the cadastral area of Hošťka.
