The Museum of Bohemian Garnets in Třebenice presents the extraction and processing of Bohemian garnets, as well as a collection of Bohemian garnet jewellery. Since 2014, its building has housed the permanent exhibition “Castles of the Bohemian Central Uplands”, which uses virtual 3D models of castles.
The Třebenice Cantional comprises 490 parchment sheets and 29 pictures. It was created between 1574 and 1578 for the association of church singers and literary men and can be viewed by the public in digitised form. The early Baroque cemetery chapel of the Holy Trinity in Třebenice dates from 1692 to 1696 and has a wooden bell tower.
Nature
A red-marked hiking trail leads from Třebenice město railway station to Hrad Košťál castle or castle ruins; the route is approximately 3.3 km long. The ruins of Hrad Košťál are freely accessible.
In the immediate vicinity of Třebenice are Hrádek, Hradek Oltářík and Hazmburk; each is considered a ruin. Košťál and Třešnovka are also in the immediate vicinity; each is considered a mountain. Lovoš and Kuzov are located in the vicinity of Třebenice and are each considered a mountain. Sukoslav is also located there and is considered a ruin.
The Třebenice Tourist Information Centre and Library are located at Paříkovo náměstí 1 in Třebenice. In front of the information centre building there is a charging station for electric bicycles, available to local residents, visitors and cyclists travelling through the town.
