Culture and History

In the center of Siřejovice village green, the Church of Saint Bartholomew stands on a small hill. It has been documented since 1384. The late Classicist building was added in 1846 to the Gothic tower of the former sanctuary, first mentioned in 1363. Parking is available directly at the church.

Southeast of Siřejovice lies the ruin of Windsor on a gentle hill. Windsor began as a Dutch-style windmill built near Lovosice in 1843. In the second half of the 19th century, the Windsor windmill was converted into a pleasure château for excursions.

Events

The traditional Kácení máje is one of the cultural and social events organized in Siřejovice. For Kácení máje 2026, a festive procession through the municipality was planned; it was scheduled to begin in front of the municipal office on May 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Bartolomějské posvícení was scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Siřejovice.
