Vražkov: Hotels and Accommodation

In the center of Vražkov stands a Baroque chapel built by J. Kratochvíl in 1763 and donated to the municipality. It also serves as a war memorial and contains a plaque with the names and portraits of residents who fell in the First World War.
Culture
A cross dating from 1846 stands in Vražkov village square; a bell tower was added beside it in the 1920s. Archaeological finds indicate that Vražkov is one of the oldest Slavic-settled municipalities in Bohemia.
The cellar of Škodův statek contains the remains of the walls of a Gothic fortress. It stood on the site of the present-day building and was completely destroyed during the Thirty Years’ War.
Svatý Jiří, a church, is located in the vicinity of Vražkov. The surrounding area also contains Zámek Ostrov, a castle, while the wider region is home to the Theresienstadt concentration camp and ghetto, a historic site, and the ruins of Hazmburk.
Hiking Trails
From Vražkov, you can hike eastward along the shooting range and the Čepel stream to Průšův mlýn. In the direction of Mnetěš, a walking path leads to the Mnetěšská alej educational trail, which continues to Ledčice and HistoryPark Ledčice.
Hřbitov zvířat is located in the cadastral area of Vražkov at the foot of Říp, on the road from Vražkov toward Rovné, and has been in operation since 2003. A yellow-marked KČT hiking trail leads from Vražkov over a rocky slope and past the Pražská vyhlídka viewpoint to the summit of Říp. At the foot of Říp, a red-marked circular trail branches off, with an educational trail around the mountain.
Nature
A record of narrow-leaved flax (Linum tenuifolium) from 1956 has been documented on the steppe slopes of Vínek near Vražkov at an elevation of approximately 230 meters.
