Tři Studně: Hotels and Accommodation
Tři Studně is located in the Žďárské vrchy landscape area and combines water, nature, and a wide range of leisure activities in a compact area. Swimming is possible at Sykovec Pond. The pond has a grassy beach and a very gently sloping sandy entry into the water. However, during the bathing water inspections in June and July 2026, Sykovec Pond had been drained on both occasions.
Nature
Leisure activities available in Tři Studně include hiking, cycling, mushroom picking, and climbing. The 10 km hiking trip “Kolem Sykovce a Medlova” starts at the car park in Tři Studně; the statue of Hejkal Pepín by Michal Olšiak also stands there at the starting point.
For cycling, the 28 km road circuit “Na Tři Studně” leads through the surroundings of the well-known Tři Studně sports and recreation area. The village offers opportunities for both summer and winter tourism.
Culture
The springs of Tři Studně are also associated with a musical work: the Barborka and Vitulka springs near Tři Studně inspired Bohuslav Martinů to compose his cantata “Otvírání studánek”.
From the outskirts of Tři Studně, a well-marked forest path about 400 metres long leads to the Barborka and Vitulka spring area. At the spring area, wooden seats form a natural amphitheatre, and there is also a covered shelter nearby.
