The Church of St. John the Baptist in Svratka was originally probably a wooden Gothic structure and is mentioned as early as around 1350. It acquired its present appearance during a reconstruction in 1789. Its bell tower houses the Panna Maria bell from 1480.
The Miloš Novotný Gallery in Svratka permanently displays more than 90 paintings. These include oil paintings and watercolors focusing on motifs from the Žďárské vrchy, as well as expressive and abstract works.
The Vysočina Painters’ Gallery in Svratka opened in 2006. It presents works by artists with regional connections, complemented by sculptures and natural growth forms.
Golf
Golfové hřiště Svratka is one of the oldest golf courses in the Czech Republic. It features a nine-hole course, a driving range, and practice areas for putting and chipping.
