Česká Bělá: Hotels and Accommodation
The Church of St. Bartholomew in Česká Bělá is an immovable cultural monument. Originally Gothic, it dates from the 14th century; its nave was remodelled in 1734 based on an earlier design by J. Santini.
Culture and History
The ore veins along the Počátky–Česká Bělá axis were mined in their most productive sections during the Middle Ages. The Baroque Chapel of the Fourteen Holy Helpers, dating from 1762, stands on Šibeniční hora.

Mount Vysoká and Mount Světka are located in the vicinity of Česká Bělá. The nearby Ševcův kopec hill is also in the area. In the wider regional surroundings are Mount Rosička and the ruins of Orlík. Smetanovy sady, a park, is also located there. A Jeffrey pine stands in the château park of Česká Bělá and is attributed with high scientific and aesthetic value.

The Rušinov–Chotěboř–Česká Bělá–Havlíčkův Brod–Šlapanov cycling route is a difficult, hilly road route for racing and trekking bikes and is 45 km long.
Hiking and Events
A short, easy hike begins in the centre of Česká Bělá, with the route marked by a yellow tourist trail marker. At the Českobělská Neckiáda on 9 August 2025, unconventional watercraft competed against each other in several disciplines on Prokšův rybník.
