Golčův Jeníkov: Hotels and accommodations

In Golčův Jeníkov, the cemetery church Kostel sv. Markéty is the oldest surviving architectural monument in the town. It was already serving its religious purpose in the 14th century and preserves a Gothic portal and gravestones; the oldest gravestones date from the 16th century. The church was rebuilt in 1821 and reconstructed again in 1905.

The roots of Jewish settlement in the Jewish Quarter of Golčův Jeníkov date back to the end of the 13th and the beginning of the 14th century. The first written reference dates from 1654.
