History
The first written mention of Zvěstovice dates from 1557. The settlement was founded along the old regional route known as the Liběnická Trail; historically, Zvěstovice was owned by the Vilémov Monastery.
Culture and Places of Remembrance
Zvěstovice is home to a monument to those who fell in the First World War. The Protestant cemetery with a chapel was built in 1862–1863 jointly by Reformed and Lutheran Christians.

Regional bus route 603171 connects Golčův Jeníkov and Třemošnice via Zvěstovice. The Mladotice–Spytice cycle route, described on 26 June 2009, passes through Zvěstovice as a stage point.
