Dobronín: Hotels and Accommodation

Am Ranč Ztracená podkova features a publicly accessible children's playground. In 2022, a new trail park for horses, dogs and children was also established there.

Nature and Horses

The Naučná stezka o koních educational trail provides visitors with interesting information about horses and horse breeding. Along the educational trail, a special footpath leads through the treetops over the Ždírecký potok stream. Horse rides are available at the riding hall by prior arrangement.

Crafts and History

The small Sklárna František Novák glassworks is located directly in the glassmaker's house. It specialises in producing replicas of historical glass, mostly greenish forest glass. During a visit, guests can watch the master glassmaker at work.

At the Budínka site, a massacre is said to have taken place in a meadow to the left of a field road from Dobronín to the forest in the direction of Nové Dvory. A wooden cross was erected at the site after 1989. A mass grave from the post-war period was discovered in the Budínka meadow in the cadastral area of Dobronín.

The mountains of Vysoká, Kopeček, Blažkov and Řehořovský vrch are located in the vicinity of Dobronín. Smetanovy sady Park is also nearby.
