The landscape around Horní Dubenky is characterized by numerous wetlands and extensive forests. Studánka Páně is located near the summit of Javořice, about 500 meters below the summit.
The remains of the Gothic Janštejn castle tower stand on a wooded, rocky hill between Nová Ves and Horní Dubenky. The Ještěnice natural monument is located in Horní Dubenky.

Cycle Route No. 5128 runs through Horní Dubenky from Jihlávka to Batelov. The Otakara Březiny educational trail runs through Horní Dubenky.
The “Od pramene řeky Jihlavy do sklárny Janštejn” route is 11 km long and offers several interesting stops in Horní Dubenky. The Březinova cesta leads to Horní Dubenky and continues along Bor pond to Jihlávka.
