Krahulčí: Hotels and Accommodation

In Krahulčí stands the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, built as a pilgrimage church from 1726 to 1728. It was the first church in the Czech lands dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk. The church has a single-nave layout, a semicircular apse and a façade with two slender towers.

Culture and History

The “Pomník Obětem 2. světové války” memorial site includes an area with urns containing the ashes of four citizens from Telč who were executed in 1944 at the Brandenburg concentration camp. Their urns were found after the war.

Roštejn (Doupě) Castle is located in the vicinity of Krahulčí. The Janštejn ruins and the U Svatého Křiže Church are also nearby. Landštejn Castle lies in the wider regional surroundings of Krahulčí.

Nature and Landscape

West of Krahulčí, beside a field path approximately 100 metres south of the road to Telč, stands a large-leaved lime tree (Tilia platyphylla).

The mountains Štamberk, Řásenský vrch and Mrhatina are located in the immediate surroundings of Krahulčí. Široký kámen lies in the vicinity of Krahulčí.

Cycling and Hiking Trails

Cycling route 1113 Jindřichův Hradec–Telč runs through Krahulčí. Cycling route 5124 Javořice–Knínice is one of the marked cycling trails in the Telčsko region.

The marked yellow hiking trail from Dobrá Voda to Krahulčí is 3 kilometres long. The hiking trail from Krahulčí to Telč continues for approximately 1.5 kilometres to Telč.
