Geomorphologically, Bořetín lies on the edge of the southwestern part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The upper course of the Hojovský Brook forms the northern boundary of Bořetín’s cadastral area and flows through the “Bukovec” forest complex. The village is surrounded by ponds and forests rich in mushrooms and bilberries.

The Choustník cycling trip leads from Psárov to Bořetín and climbs to the 626 m-high summit of U Mostkovy kapličky. Without detours, this route is approximately 35 km long. Water and ponds

A natural swimming pool is located on the edge of the village of Bořetín. The Návesní Pond in Bořetín has been used for sport fishing for many years.
