Cetoraz: Hotels and Accommodation

The originally Gothic Church of St. Wenceslas was built in Cetoraz in 1350. It stands on a slight rise at the eastern edge of the village, on the road near the village square.

Culture

The Church of St. Wenceslas, together with the rectory and grounds, is protected as a historical monument by law in Cetoraz. The church also has an older bell called Václav, which was made in 1512.

In Jánsku in Cetoraz, there is a chapel dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk. The Deym tomb was built in 1821 in the local cemetery in Cetoraz after the death of Christina Deym. The Neoclassical, brick-built rectangular chapel has a deep niche framed by half-columns. A stone tombstone bearing the Brady–Deym alliance coat of arms is built into this niche.

Nature

The Vodický stream forms a cascade of ponds used for recreational purposes, with a total water surface area of 22 hectares. The ponds near Cetoraz offer opportunities for swimming.

At the edge of Cetoraz stands a tree called the Cetorazský oak, which is protected as a natural monument. The wooded surroundings of Cetoraz offer opportunities for hiking.
