Studenec: Hotels and Accommodation

The first written references to Studenec date from the autumn of 1101. In the same year, Studenec was one of the settlements that the monastery founders Oldřich of Brno and Litold of Znojmo donated to the Benedictine monastery in Třebíč.

The Chapel of St. Wenceslas was established as a school building with a bell tower constructed in 1832. It was built between 1914 and 1918 and consecrated on 2 October 2005.

Within the municipality of Studenec, the 39 hectares of water areas include ponds in the village and a pond system near Studenec railway station.

The traditional three-day St. Bartholomew pilgrimage takes place in Studenec in August. It includes preparing the maypole and an evening dance. On Sunday, it also includes a procession of costumed stárci through the village.

Fishing competitions for adults and children are held at Studený Pond behind the municipal office. The Association of Multipurpose Technical Sports and Activities organises auto-moto markets four times a year.

Studenec railway station is approximately 2.5 km from the village of Studenec.
