Lubná on the Edge of the Chřiby: Trails, Chapel and History

Lubná lies on the edge of the Chřiby Hills, formerly known as the Hříběcí Mountains. The area combines landscapes, trails, a chapel with a long history and local events. The Tabarky burial ground nearby is also one of the named historical points of reference. Nature and Trails

The Stezky severními Chřiby trail network includes information boards with trail maps, tourist signposts, benches and panoramic boards at viewpoints. Within the same network, this provides both orientation elements and seating and boards at viewpoints. The Tabarky burial ground, dating from the 9th century, lies near Lubná. It bears witness to a very old Slavic settlement. The historical connection is thus established both through the chapel itself and through the nearby burial ground, with Tabarky explicitly assigned to the 9th century.

The traditional cooking of goulash in a cauldron takes place in Lubná; the 2026 edition was the 11th edition. In addition to this culinary event, Lubná hosts the Lubenský pedál.
