Jalubí – Church, Chapel and Windmill

You can consider the cultural sites separately according to their sacred architectural history, trade route and milling technology. This means that different historical references stand side by side in Jalubí: the church and chapel refer to 18th-century sacred architecture, the toll stone to earlier trade traffic, and the windmill to local milling technology.

The protected toll stone of Jalubí points to a trade route that passed through the village. In 1998, the toll stone was moved from its original location outside the village and placed under a shelter on the main road in Jalubí; an information board provides further explanations.

The High Baroque chapel, built in 1737, stands on the hill above Jalubí along the old road to Velehrad. The chapel is freely accessible. The historic windmill in Jalubí was in operation by 1875 at the latest. The windmill is a replica built between 2007 and 2009 on the exposed foundations of the original mill, which was demolished in 1938.

The chapel and windmill therefore differ not only in their purpose, but also in their historical status: the chapel is an 18th-century building, while the present mill was created as a replica on the foundations of the former facility. The dates make this chronological classification within the history of the village comprehensible.

The leisure facilities offer different focuses, including play, sport and water activities; the seasonal aspect of the outdoor swimming pool should be considered separately when planning your travel period.

The minigolf course in Jalubí has 10 holes with obstacles of varying difficulty. The beach volleyball court in Jalubí can also be used for beach football. During the summer months, Jalubí outdoor swimming pool offers a stainless-steel pool with swimming lanes as well as a children's pool with water features such as spray jets and a slide.

Minigolf and the multifunctional sand court are independent sporting facilities alongside the outdoor swimming pool. The swimming pool is additionally limited to the summer months; furthermore, the pool with swimming lanes and the children's pool differ in their respective listed features.
