Ořechov lies in the valley of the Ořechovský potok stream. Extensive vineyards continue to occupy the southeastern slopes of the village. In the park in front of Ořechov château stands the listed Kaple sv. Václava with its bell tower. It contains a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk dating from 1747. Kaple sv. Václava was rebuilt in 1849 and reconstructed in 2011–2012. Another religious landmark is located on the road to Syrovín: Kaplička Andělů strážných was built there in 1873 as a memorial to the soldiers from Ořechov who returned from the war.
