Nature
The NPR Pulčín-Hradisko is a national nature reserve protecting significant rock formations and forests with a naturally composed species structure. The Pulčínské skály consist of five groups of rocks. The Kobzova lime tree is a memorial tree standing 26 m tall with a trunk circumference of 760 cm.
The lookout tower on Čubův kopec is freely accessible, 16 m high, has four levels, and is made of wood. The Trtol rock formation offers a view of the valley.
Trails and orientation
The building of the former school in the center of the Pulčín settlement provides information about local attractions, tips for excursions, souvenirs, showers, and other services for tourists. The colorful icefalls in the NPR Pulčín-Hradisko can be reached via a seasonally marked trail from the information center in Pulčín. In the NPR Pulčín-Hradisko, access outside marked hiking trails is prohibited by law.
An educational trail leads through Francova Lhota and over the ridge of the Javorníky Mountains. It offers views as well as information about the landscape and Wallachian history. A cycle route connects the municipalities of the Hornolidečsko microregion in two loops and is over 50 km long. Francova Lhota is an excellent starting point for stages along the ridge of the Javorníky Mountains and in the direction of the White Carpathians.
Culture
Traditional Fašank processions take place in Francova Lhota every year on the weekend before Ash Wednesday. The two-day Fašank procession through the municipality ends at the local cultural center with the burial of the bass.
In December, Francova Lhota hosts processions of a Saint Nicholas group, which are particularly typical of southern Wallachia.
