Novy Hrozenkov: Hotels and Accommodations

At the heart of the Na Stanoch natural swimming area lies a 9.5-hectare artificial lake, also locally known as Balaton or Kačák.

Water

The Na Stanoch area offers grass and sandy beaches, changing rooms, showers, toilets, a children's playground, and a beach volleyball court.

The Na Stanoch area also features an artificial ramp for acrobatic water jumps on skis and boards.

Culture and Tradition

The Památník Antonína Strnadla is located in a characteristic log cabin from 1835 originating from the Valašsko region.

An exhibition showcases mountain pastures where sheep were kept for generations, as well as traditional, in some cases unique, and now almost forgotten equipment used in alpine farming.

Guided tours of the traditional production of sheep cheese can be booked at the Nový Hrozenkov Information Centre.

Trails and Landscape

The “Z Hrozenkova do Hrozenkova” brochures offer seven circular routes of varying length and difficulty for pedestrians, cyclists, and families with children.

The Rokling route collection comprises 20 gorge or streambed routes in the vicinity of Nový Hrozenkov; four of them are located directly in Nový Hrozenkov.

Mount Babínek is located in the vicinity of Nový Hrozenkov. Mount Kladnatá is also located in the vicinity of Nový Hrozenkov, as is Mount Kaní. Mount Ceranská Kyčera is located in the area surrounding Nový Hrozenkov.

Winter

The Nový Hrozenkov–Vranča ski area is situated at an altitude of 500 to 670 metres and offers eight ski runs with a total length of 5.8 kilometres.
