Střelná: Hotels and Accommodation

Střelná extends into the Javorníky Mountains to the north, while the southern part belongs to the White Carpathians (Bílé Karpaty). The Turistická zvonice in Střelná is located on the Hornolidečská magistrála.

Nature and Trails

At the Turistická zvonice, there is spring water from the mountains, toilets, a fire pit with a supply of firewood, a smokehouse, a sandbox for children and a camping area. The Stations of the Cross in nature adjoining the Turistická zvonice offer space for peace and reflection.

The NS Javorníky-západ educational trail begins in Střelná; its second stop is located at Čubův kopec. The Čubův kopec lookout tower is freely accessible, 16 metres high, has four levels and is made of wood.

Routes and Sights

The Hornolidečský Circuit of the Hornolidečská magistrála passes through Střelná. On the “K pramenům a studánkám Hornolidečska” route, the church in Střelná is listed as a point of interest.

Shooting Range

At the Střelná shooting range, shooting is possible at distances of 100 to 1,500 metres. The SSK Poruba club organises training sessions at the Střelná shooting range near Vsetín. Non-members can register for training with Martin Pinček.

Transport and Local Character

Train services on the Horní Lideč–Střelná–Púchov line will not be resumed. In 2026, the XXI Střelenský košt domácí slivovice was held.
