The Hrádek archaeological site is located in the Dešná area. Hrádek is a fortified hilltop settlement of the Púchov culture from the Late La Tène period, that is, from the end of the 1st century BC. Archaeological research at Hrádek between Všemina and Dešná demonstrated settlement by the Púchov culture and uncovered traces of a palisade made of posts, which was apparently destroyed by fire. Archaeological investigations at Hrádek in 1987 uncovered a stone axe, ceramics and iron objects; the most significant find was a forge shovel.
The Zlatná site comprises a settlement of the same culture where Celtic gold coins were found. Zlatná is also called Zlatnice. An estimated 12 to 20 gold coins were found at the site; currently, only three of them can be identified.
A wooden memorial cross stands at the Na kopci site in Dešná. The cross is located at an elevated spot deliberately chosen so that it can also be seen from a distance. The site lies at a symbolic crossroads; in the past, the memorial cross there marked the entrance to the Všemina area.
